Cute Easter Crafts

My daughter wanted to give something to her friends at the Easter party at school. They will have a Easter Egg Hunt and a special lunch so I didn't wanted to send any more candy. I found this adorable bunny puppets last week at the purl bee. I love the blog and made some of their projects before. Here is a pic of the one I made last weekend.

I had to cut some corners in order to make about 20 in the next 2 days. I didn't embroider the eyes and I used already made pompoms. I think is still very cute. Princess G loved it. I'm making light blue bunnies for the boys and pink for the girls.

For her teacher; G wants to make this Easter Candy Terrarium that we saw in the Martha Show. I thought it was such a great idea. So that's what we will be doing this afternoon after she comes back from school.

Lindas manualidades para Pascuas

Mi hija queria llevar algo para sus amigos en la Fiesta de Pascuas de la escuela, Como van a tener Busqueda de Huevos de Pascua y almuerzo espcial, no queria mandar nada que tuviera mas golosinas. Encontre las instrucciones para estos adorables titeres la semana pasada en the purl bee . Me encanta este blog y hice algunos de sus proyectos anteriormente. Aca esta la foto del que hice el fin de semana para probar.

Tuve que cambiar un par de cositas para poder terminar unos 20 en los proximos dos días. Nuestros conejos no tiene los ojos bordados y el pompon es comprado. Creo que de todas maneras es bonito. Le encanto a mi hija y eso es lo que importa. Voy a hacer celeste para los varones y rosa para las nenas.

Para su maestra, G quiere hacer este Terrario de Golosinas de Pascuas que vimos en el show de Martha. Pense que era una gran idea. Asique esto es lo que haremos esta tarde cuando vuelva de la escuela.

I spoke too soon

I was so anxious for this cold winter to be over that I spoke too soon. This is the weather we had the first day of spring in North TX.

We got about a inch and half. Hard to believe we got some snow this time of the year.

Hable muy temprano

Estaba tan ansiosa de que termine este invierno tan frio que hable muy temprano. Asi amanecimos el primer dia de primavera

Cayeron 3 o 4 cm. Dificil de creer que tuvimos nieve en esta epoca del año!.

I got mail!

I got an email earlier last week that I won the Divine Twine + More Giveaway from Whisker Graphics . When I got home from work Friday afternoon, this was waiting for me.

So pretty I didn't wanted to open it. But I did!. I got the Divine Twine in 5 color and much more.

Such a cute stuff, I can wait to start using everything. Thanks Whitney!

Recibi en el correo

Recibi un email la semana pasada que habia ganado el sorteo de Divine Twine + More de Whisker Graphics . Cuando el viernes llegue de trabajar me encontre con este sobnre esperandome.

Tan lindo que me daba pena abrirlo. Pero lo abri igual! Recibi el Divine Twine en 5 colores y mucho mas.

Tantas cosas lindas, esperopoder usarlas pronto. Gracias Whitney!

Spring is in the air

We had a long cold winter but finally we can feel spring in the air. Yesterday was such a beautiful day that inspired me to take some pictures and to start some gardening projects (that I’ll post about later).

I wish you could hear these pictures because there were so many birds singing while I took them. Was incredible. Now, to enjoy this weather before the summer comes.

La Primavera esta en el aire

Tuvimos un largo y frio invierno pero finalmente ya podemos sentir la primavera en el aire. Ayer fue in día tan lindo que me inspiro a sacar algunas fotos y empezar algunos proyectos en el jardin (que otro día mostrare).

Ojala pudieran escuchar las fotos, habia tantos pajaros cantando mientras sacaba las fotos. Increible. Ahora, a disfrutar este clima antes que llegue el verano con las temperaturas agobiantes.

What I'm working on this days

I being quiet but I'm working on something. I was suppost to be working in stuff for my Etsy shop but instead I decided to try to make something for me. I always make things for my daughter, niece or nephews. They are my inspiration, and everything looks cute on them. But I decided to pamper me this time. I found a pattern for a cute crochet vest and I'm giving it a try. Let's see how it comes out. This is a sneak peak

I know is not much but still doesn't have any shape. I hope to finish it soon, it would be perfect for spring weather.


En que estoy trabajando estos dias

Estuve callada esta semana pero estoy trabajando en algo. Se suponia que iba a hacer cosas para  mi shop en Etsy pero decidi hacer algo para mi. Siempre hago cosas para mi hija o sobrinos. Ellos son mi inspiracion y todo luce lindo en ellos. Pero decidi mimarme un poco esta vez. Encontre instrucciones para hacer un chaleco al crocet y decidi tratar de hacerlo. Veremos como queda. Esta es una pequeña muestra.  

Se que no es mucho, pero todavia no tiene forma de nada. Espero terminarlo pronto porque es ideal para usar en primavera.

My Olympic Project

I call it my Olympic Project because I made it while watching and enjoying the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. I saw this wreath from DOMESTIFLUFF months ago and since then I wanted to make it. It was the perfect project to do while watching the games. I was intimidated at first with all the circles. But I follow the instructions in the link to stamp the circles and it was a time saver. I stamped the circles very close so I need it only a yard of felt. It was a lot of fun to make and it took less time than I was expecting. This is our wreath, in my daughter’s room door.

Mi Proyecto  Olimpico


 Lo llamo mi Proyecto Olimpico porque lo hice mientras miraba y disfrutaba las Olimpiadas de Invierno del 2010. Vi esta  decoracion para puertas en DOMESTIFLUFF hace unos meses y desde ese momento quise hacerla. Es el proyecto perfecto para hacer mientras miraba los deportes. Al principio estaba un poco intimidada por la cantidad de circulos. Pero seguilas instrucciones que estan en el link para estamparlos circulos y ahorre un monton de tiempo. Estampe los circulos bien cerca unos de otros y solo necesite 1 metro de paño. Fue muy divertido de hacer  y me tomo menso tiempo del esperado. La foto es mi version, en la puerta de la pieza de mi hija. 

My First Post

I'm very excited! I finally have my own crafts blog. The last year or so I became kind of addicted to crafts blogs. I can spend hours reading them and day dreaming all the projects I would like to make someday. I wanted to start this blog to share the things I make, my finds and my long *I want to make list* with all the craft lovers that are out there.

Estoy muy contenta! Finalmente tengo mi propio blog de artesanias. Hace como un año que me volvi adicta a los blogs de artesanias. Puedo pasar horas leyendolos y soñar despierta todos los proyectos que me gustaria hacer un dia. Queria empezar este blog para compartir las cosas que hago, las cosas que encuentro y mi larga lista de *cosas que quiero hacer* con todas las personas que les gusta hacer artesanias.
